About

About Marcelo Gallego Moreno

I am a product leader with a technical foundation and founder experience. My career has moved from building and running digital businesses to leading Product and Technology in B2B and enterprise platforms, with one constant: I work well when the problem does not fit inside a single function.

I have been through B2C to B2B pivots, legacy modernisation, products distributed through large partners, M&A, post-acquisition integration and platform transformation with multidisciplinary teams. That path lets me connect product direction, technical constraints, customers and real delivery capacity without turning technology into an end in itself.

How I got here

BuboCar

Co-founder · Chief Product Officer. Co-founding, a pivot from B2C marketplace to B2B SaaS, and end-to-end responsibility for product, technology and operations.

Net4Things

Head of Product → Chief Product & Technology Officer (CTPO). Product and technology direction across a B2B/B2B2C portfolio, Product and Technology due diligence during an acquisition, and integration afterwards.

EYSA · Tecsidel

Director of Product & R&D · Tecsidel (EYSA Group). Platform transformation and an international enterprise context, with full people management and responsibility for an annual cost centre.

Before all that

Founding and running a digital brand of my own, marketing and growth consulting, and IT support in a multinational environment. That is where the customer orientation and the instinct to start from the smallest testable product come from.

Technical foundation

Technical Engineering in Computer Systems, University of Seville. It is what allows me to go into technical detail when it is needed.

How I lead

  • Clear context, real responsibility and autonomy for the team.
  • Full people management, not only functional direction.
  • Explicit prioritisation and traceable decisions.
  • The ability to go into technical detail when it unblocks a product decision.
  • Customer and business orientation.

Beyond work

Sport, continuous learning and time with my family.
